But ultimately they'll stay up and be in Europe two seasons after.  :Funny:

Arsenal should be losing their heads at this point.

Do they even want to challenge?

Did they pay about £50m for Madueke or did I imagine that? If so, are their scouts on LSD?

Exactly, whilst Liverpool and City go mad they've literally got a mid table player in (I rate madueke but not top6) and er... That's it.

RE: The Premier League 2025/26 - Sausage Roll - 24-07-2025

Isak has apparently said he'd like to explore a move away from Newcastle.

Hope they are tracking flights to John Lennon airport.

There's a certain amount of schadenfreude in watching their meltdown after they were happily sharing mocked-up pictures of Elanga in their shirt.

Wonder what he thinks now after moving to play with his buddy.....

Elanga could always ask for a transfer back to Forest at say £40 million as his Swedish mate wants away?

You've got to assume they discussed it and Isak told him he wanted out, surely.

It feels like this window is all about the richest clubs trying to pull further away. Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal all spending lavishly (Man City did it in January) while the likes of us, Newcastle, Fulham and Villa struggle to make signings because of the spectre of PSR.

Yeah it really does.

Newcastle's largely ineffective window (aside from Elanga ironically) is the perfect example. They have oil money and champions league but seem unable to take advantage. What chance do the rest of us have.

It doesn’t help if every mediocre 21 year old in Europe or South America states they only want to play for a Sky 6 club. Thought if we had got CL it would have made a difference but maybe not, surprised to see Newcastle struggling.
Thing is those 21 year olds will eventually get a reality check that Chelsea have finally stopped spending and they will have to lower their sights. My preference would be someone with a better attitude like Murillo prepared to start a step lower.
