Exactly Pap. He was given a chance at a big club and bottled it. It wasn't the managers fault he fell short when he should've been doing better. He let himself down and our club.
In some respects, we have to blame that fuckwit Fawaz for bringing him to our club in the first place. He thought he would be clever by bringing a Clough to the City Ground, but in the end it back fired spectacularly on both of them.
As Pap said, we paid him millions to sit on his arse all day. He said we wouldn't let him leave the club to play elsewhere? I find that hard to accept, given the club were trying to force him out the door for a couple of seasons, but he wouldn't budge!!
He bangs on about wanting the fans love. He has to earn that affection with any fans, not just at Forest. Coming out with the crap he has spilt out to the Carlisle newspaper comes across as being desperate to be wanted. He is using the 'Woe is me' approach, trying to make out that all of his failings were down to the staff at NFFC. If the club weren't letting him go elsewhere to play, why didn't he go to the PFA and complain about how he was being treated? Because if he had done, he would've had to have gotten off of his arse and done some work for his money. Ungrateful Bastard!!
I hope we get drawn against Carlisle in the Carabao Cup at the City Ground. I am sure our fans would make him feel welcome and missed :cool:

I hope he isn’t insinuating that the club didn’t support him with his mental health, especially after all the support networks the club has built slowly but surely over the years in the community etc.
But if you’re just not hitting that performance target expected of you by managers you’re not gonna be picked, and I think the club were delicate with it I’m sure someone said look it’s not worked out surely what’s best is a fresh start for both of us, and you can go to a club where you can rebuild that talent again etc
