Figgs was good today... poor attacking play but never looked like losing and Yates effort was unlucky... very poor entertainment though

57% possession, 14 shots, 6 on target, 7 corners

they committed 18 fouls

shame '0' goals

Drab game, lack of quality, two points dropped

Samba -MOTM caught and stopped everything, looked assured
Christie- bipolar, one minute excellent, the next woeful
Ribeiro- rusty first half, struggled to get going
Worrall- decent defensively, terrible distribution
Figs- couple of nervy moments, rode his luck, will be better for it
Sow- ok, couple of dodgy moments
Yates- decent on the ball, missed (yet another) guilt edged opportunity
Cafu- anonymous aside from set pieces
Mighten-fouled every time he tried to get going, due a rest
Ameobi- sluggish, two decent opportunities to test the keeper, failed
Grabban-Good first half with link up play and movement, couldn’t find a red shirt second half, on a different wave length to Taylor

Knockaert-pointless, send him back
Taylor-did little, wasted decent opportunity to create, beat in a foot race by Dean and an injured Roberts
Lolley-occasional glimpses, rarely plays well off the bench

Knockaert is definitely better at corners

No chance

Can any other forum member honestly say that we are progressing under CH? The football and team selection is appalling I hope you guys can see this as clearly as me?

The team selection is appalling? Which of our amazing squad would you play instead? He is stuck with extremely limited players hence the poor quality.

Cafu often overhits, knockaert puts them on penalty spot every time. No contest

Agree with all of that, a tad harsh on Yates maybe, we agree to disagree on that until I see the replay!

Grabban and Taylor as a combination does not work.

Who did you think was missing? He pretty much played the team everyone wanted for the last few games

My confidence that we'll charge away from the drop zone has gone down now after today. I wish people would stop blaming the manager every time and just consider our squad is just very very average.

Agreed - certainly wouldn’t class it as a clear chance.

Half chance more like.

And that first time ball in the first half was class.

It’s Christmas. Must resist the urge to bait Wassy about our summer recruitment being so fantastic.  :D
